The
Process
Research
- All design begins with you, the client. The process begins
with an initial information gathering phase to explore both your
personal preferences and desires, as well as the physical elements,
conditions and possibilities of the property itself. Consultants
from various trades and other related professions may be contacted
and could potentially become a part of the team that is instrumental
to the implementation and completion of your project.
Concept
Development and Space Planning- All of the facts, thoughts
and ideas are brought together and analyzed by the design team
to explore various possibilities and options available. Preliminary
drawings, sketches and potential materials are then compiled for
your review, input, and approval to proceed.

Design
Documentation and Implementation - Once the design
concept is developed and approved by you, the client, various
drawings, specifications and schedules are prepared, as needed,
for the project. They often include:
-
Floor Plan and Furniture Layout
-
Interior
(and possibly exterior) Elevations and Design Details
-
Color
and Finishing Materials, Samples and Schedules which may include
Lighting, Plumbing Fixtures, Appliances, Cabinets, Home Electronics,
Floor Coverings, Custom Furniture Designs, and Window Coverings
-
